About The Role
As a Senior Development Manager, you will lead the delivery of high profile developments in the ACT. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of overseeing project budgets, timelines, design, construction, and sales while ensuring the highest quality and safety standards. You will play a crucial part in shaping successful projects, driving profitability, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities For The Role
- Develop and implement project strategies to achieve the best outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS legislation and company safety standards across all project phases
- Manage the preparation of design briefs, development approvals and make recommendations on key appointments.
- Oversee the preparation and maintain budgets, cash flow and programs to ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage consultants, and contractors during the design, documentation, construction and title registration phases.
- Liaise with government agencies to facilitate timely approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to create dynamic and effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management and joint venture partners.
- Lead consultants and contractors through the design, documentation, construction, and registration phases of development.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with experience in Construction and Property.
- Strong experience in design engineering, project and financial management within property development.
- Background in sustainability, technology integration, infrastructure and mixed use environments.
- Outstanding time management, planning, commercial acumen.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
